South Africa Vs England 3rd ODI turned out to be a disaster for the home team as the lost the important match against the Englishmen by a huge margin. The Proteas needed to win this in order to qualify automatically for the ODI World Cup 2023. However, the English stood in their way and thrashed all South African dreams. Jofra Archer was instrumental in breaking South Africa’s back by taking six wickets.
South Africa seems to be on a mission Vs England, the ODI World Cup 2019 Winners, who appear to be going in the opposite direction. With Automatic Qualification on the line for ODI World Cup 2023 for South Africa, Bavuma’s men seem to have taken their game to another level. They have already won the Series, but that will be of little importance if they lose the all-important match today – 1st February 2023.
England, the World Cup holders, seem to be travelling in the opposite direction. They last won an ODI in July and have lost eight of their last 10 completed matches in the format. Friday’s game seemed easier for the visitors to win than lose, but they found a way – having reached 146 for no wicket inside 20 overs, they lost all 10 for 125 in the next 25.
South Africa Vs England – ODI Match will be viewed by many other nations who will have to play qualifiers if South Africa makes a clean sweep of the series today.
