Ravinder Jadeja, has returned to Domestic cricket months after nurturing a knee injury. He will play a Ranji Trophy match in order to Test his Injury before the Ultimate Test against the Aussies. The BCCI has given strict instructions for Jadeja to play this match before returning to the international side.
The BCCI said that it will allow five foreign players in the playing XI with at least one cricketer from an Associate Nation. This is a change from the IPL rule where only four foreign players are permitted. The fifth foreign player will have to be from an Associate Nation in the WIPL.
The BCCI has set INR 12 crore as the salary cap for the Women’s Indian Premier League (WIPL), being launched in February. The fund size will have an annual increment of INR 1.5 crore in the next four years and will go up to INR 18 crore by the end of the first five-year cycle.
